According to the 2nd point of the constitution of the Society (https://utopian-studies-europe.org/constitution-and-regulation/), members of the Society are individuals who pay Society membership fee.
The USS/E membership fee is currently 20 EUR. The membership fee should be paid until 30th April (although payments may be accepted later). A lifelong membership may be gained by paying a fee of 500 EUR.
The fee is payable to the accounts administered by the Society’s Treasurer – Kenneth Hanshew – via bank transfer or Revolut.

The Society Fee is separate from the Conference Fee. It is not possible to participate in a USS/E Conference without paying the Society Fee. It is possible to be a member of the USS/E without attending the USS/E conference/s when the society membership fee is paid.
Exemptions to the Society Fee will be provided based on the individual’s circumstances and granted by the three Society Officers (Chair, Secretary, Treasurer) upon a request stating these circumstances. The Society Fee for those exempt will be covered with Society funds.
